This morning while waiting for the freshly ground coffee to brew, I stepped outside for a little stroll amongst the budding flowers in my 'pet project' area ... quietly inspecting with a happy eye and tender touch, smiling at the progress of it all in such a short time ... I was given even a greater smile by a pleasant surprise of a very very new-comer to the 'unfinished' patch ....

A lovely Tulip Tree sprig (my Dad's favourite tree next to the Pin Oak) ... their constitutions, the Tree's and my Dad's, are very much the same; tall, beautiful, discreet and strong, yet prone to great weakness if not properly cared for. Also, another interesting thing, is that there are not many Tulip Trees around in this area of where we reside ...

So, if you've been reading my posts as of late you may know and understand why I feel this little beautiful sprig is a good sign and of course one to keep and tend to!
