Soooo.... i was at the train station today fumbling trying to put on my glove and thought of the bright idea to put my phone in my mouth to hold it. Of course its one of those dinosaur thick phones and falls out of my mouth, bounces on the pavement and then lands right on the subway track face open...... I stop, look at it knowing that it would be minutes before it was just demolished. So what did I do? I jumped down into the subway.. grabbed it and pulled myself back out. Two minutes later... the train came.
Okay. I am officially worried about my self destructive ways.....

Gen, I am glad your okay, but I don't want to hear anymore stories like this! Please be more careful! I have always had nightmares of the NY subways...even still to this day, and I have been living South since 1999. I still have NY dreams regarding subways, and high buildings/roofs/elevators. I have walked on tracks...but, tracks like 'railroad' you know, but the subway, I am just shocked you went down there...I would have payed someone to do it for me or something.....especially if it were a thick dinosaur phone......

Some words of wisdom to you young lady .... F*** the phone - f*** it, you can always replace it, yeah sure it'll be a real drag inorder to replace it, but you can't replace your Life!! The train is worry ... but you know about that third ELECTRIFIED rail!
Years ago, I was dated a guy who lived on Martha's Vineyard and also gave me some of the best advice on many occasions. Anyhoo, naturally I had to drive 100 and some odd miles in order to catch a ferry to get to the Vineyard. Well, there was a time where I cut it kind of close ... and I ended up speeding all the way in rush hour traffic, to get to the ferry terminal in the time. I managed to get the ferry without any problems, no tickets, no accidents. So, silly me, once I am safe and sound on the Vineyard, I go ahead and tell Frank that I rushed all the way to the ferry ... and got there just in time. Well, this was enough to ruffle Frank's feathers and he got all mad at me .... he said he didn't want me to rush for any ferry just so I could see him, he said 'how do think I would feel if something happened to you?' and he finished his lecture by saying .... "There will always be another ferry!!"
So, my dear friend, I cannot emphisize this enough to you ... 'there will always be another ferry!' .... You can always replace the phone!
