Relieved and happier.
Spent the last few minutes digging out a cedar wood splinter that was lodged in the palm of my hand. Some of those stretchers bars (for canvases) can be rather dangerous - yikes!
*note to self* sand edges of those cedar stretchers bars.

I'm no public speaker and in fact so painfully shy that speaking to more than 5 people is enough to make me feel sick. I had to give a speech to 115 people Saturday night.....
All I can say is thank God for podiums otherwise I would have been a glop on the floor LOL

I myself can be really nervous for these things, but when I'm standing there, I just -have to- and all just works out for me... (luckily)

this is where im odd and my co workers will say it. im the Occupational health and safety Representative for the nursing home part of the hospital and i was asked to speak on it at a work forum day ..well i froze up i was SO nervous no one could believe it because i am so chatty one on one with people i know ..115 people no way .unless i was speaking about spirit that would be ok ..and to people of like mind ..easy.

Finally! I start work officially today.
I had a job, but they were on hold... so I got hired again, and would you believe, I am going to start work today? I'm happy...its hard trying to keep myself amused for over two weeks...
