      Default Mental Illness

      Hi

Just reading your article on metal Illness have dealt with it all my life like you lorri through a family member a sister in law happen to here throught the lost off her first child she has Schizophrenia and boy does she gives us a run for our money she can cause war in heaven normally this is at family gatherings she will cause rows.

With your niece god bless her the weed rots your brain my son friend is going throught the same.

As with myself due to my marriage break down going back over 12 years I ended up in 2 hospital the first one was no good but the next saved me from killing myself my walking angel a brillant doctor.

I lost 2 years off my life then and I still can t put back the jigsaw pieces back together even to this day I called that time my valley off tears all I wanted to do was sleep cry to dress and shower would use up my energy I had reached the dark side off my soul.

Then I was introduced to Reiki it turned my life around I became a different person this did happen over night but a period off time, I could focus on myself I wanted to get better.

my life was pills in the morning , evening and sleeping tablets at night and to this day I have not taken anymore drugs.

I was lost and could not find my way out like the saying goes alone in a crowded room.

Rana have also read on Schizophrenia do they see and speak to spirits i question that about myself in the early days when I started to see thinks though I was going mad with the voices in my head but now I know I'm not.

Bless be as you can see I am on a roll feeling really good today making my way back.

It relieves me, to read that people can actually find strength after going through these kind of things..

Well here's a story related to this subject, which I wanted to share..

I'm being confronted with someone who -probably- has borderline for quite some time. It's someone really close to me, which makes it difficult.

(I definately say probably, since to label these things, isn't always correct, it hasn't been diagnosed, as far as I know. However, I'm not the only one who's making that same connection, related to the behaviour that person has.)

Anyway, I wrote down -and then deleted- a huge story below this line, since I don't want to make it too personal. Let's just say I'm experiencing this behaviour of that person at this time.

The positive thing is, I get full support at home and I already have access to the right people who can support in how to cope with it.

But my question to you, has anyone experienced this and perhaps someone can give me a few do's and dont's.. and a few of these smileys will do just enough..

Here's one from me to start with..

hello A-ONE , My name is Rana and firstly id liek to say i love your avatar i havent flown a kite in years .. and i would also like to say that although as you said there is no actual diagnosis you have noted some definate changes (on them lines) and that is usually how these people find guidance and begin the process of healing , for those living with a mental illness they themselves are scared, confused and dont want it to be that and will carry on with life but suffer alone in their silence. They need to directed gently (unless they are at risk of self harm immediately where a more direct approach is taken) to a psychiatrist ,or medical Doctor so they can be assessed. I have actually been through what you are experiencing on two different levels the first was my previous relationship that was around 11 years ago and that relationship lasted 10 years ,i entered it at 15 years of age . He showed in the later stages definate signs of paranoia beyond that which was "normal" but i had grown to love him and understood alot of his background history in WHOLE (i wont go too far in or ill lose track of what im saying) .after i left and thru circumstances he was assessed as told by the courts and found to have paranoid schizophrenia , i wasnt nursing then but when i looked back from another vantage i realised it had been there a long time i just had been too close and emotionally involved to see it ( i was in denial).
in the 2nd instance it was my brother what seemed like suddenly he started acting unusual ,he was talking very strange with a strange grandeous language that made absolutely no sense ,he would get aggressive when someone tried to challenge his points of view or ask him to talk straight. he thought we were all against him and wanted him out of our lives.he caused alot of trouble amongst us by inventing lies abiut each. he also had alot of grand spiritual ideas that made no sense at all . With him i knew i needed to intervene directly when he talked about being depressed and thoughts of joining his friends in the spirit world again , i created a space at my home and made sure we wouldnt be interrupted and that he didnt have to go anywhere . id talked to people and got advice and resources gathered so i could follow through with my guidance. I asked him directly if he had thought about how he would return to the spirit world ,he told me how ( when someone has a plan they are serious and need immediate help) . i talked to him about many things to make him comfortable i started with eating habits, sleeping and i said he needed to have his levels checked for mineral deficiencey, i casually said in with all that you could have developed a psychosis (he was smoking ********* at that time) ,i went on it could be more could be schizophrenia,or clinical depression but you wont know until you have a FULL assessment and get back on track. he knew he was comfortable enough for me to mention then what i had observed about him and the changes . he said he didnt realise it that way only that he was struggling with his life. i then went on to provide resources and said i would support him thru it and go to all his appointments if thats what he wanted (because he had got so far down he said if i didnt initiate it he wouldnt go its like something had taken his mind over and would want to stay there and wouldnt wake him up or would tell him not to go or that im bad) . our first port of call was the doctor and he had blood tests done ,we found him to be mineral deficient to the absolute extreme in every mineral almost , he was malnourished. he began specialised councelling, saw a dietician and was found to have had psychosis which was mangeable and he is now without it he has returned his chemicals to a balanced state. his minerals are in check wth a balanced food intake. he looks fantastic also with weight on ..his serotonin had been low which brought him into depression. my mum got him to see a naturopath , and we found out (optometrist) he has always had an eye disorder in one eye he can see perfectly out of one eye but has a flat disc in the other and this made him sensitive to light and tired constantly ? he now has a great job (actually his band are in japan currently) but he will return to his job when he returns which he absolutely loves.
so i would reccommend researching for your resources , and write them all down . and if you arent comfortable or you think there will be a conflict if the questions come from you or you dont want to ask directly then inform their doctor yourself prior to the consultation you be the one to help organise the visit so they DO go. ask the doctor to do a full blood test including vit D and magnesium (ALL preferably) these can be used for the naturopath later if required. provide a safe space for them to disclose . it may be accessing a life coach but definately councelling from a specialist.
also to you we are often over looked because we suffer in silence too and it is scary and isolating , councelling for you too would help you thru and become a strong support person who really understands and im here too if you want to talk (you can PM me too) . it will be alright with the right guidance. please let me know how it all goes.

P.S if they are open to it later then traditional energetic healing will be beneficial

      Hi Rana,

Thanks a lot for your detailed reply. It's very friendly of you!
You have written a lot about your experience, and especially how to find a sort of remedy, treatment for it. I really admire that.

Only at the moment it's quite complicated to even -try- to set up a way to investigate what underlying factors can contribute to all this. But I really get your idea and your message in this.

I will think this a bit over... but at this moment the only thing I can do is wait till this has passed for a bit and ask for support, as you stated..

      All the best,

      A-one
