      We have plenty of them here in NC as well! I would love an apple tree in my yard. I would never go hungry. My children and I love apples. Many in my neighborhood also have pear trees and grape vines. I LOVE NATURE..."WE ARE NATURE" ~ENIGMA

      I know Sphinx posted a picture of the Rown tree but this is a close up of the Rowan tree (or Mountain Ash) which I just love! The base of the berries make a little star or pentagram!!

      The biggest is General Sherman in the Sequoia National Park - 2,200 years old, 275 feet tall, and weighs over 6000 tons.
