I believe my demons are the things that I cannot control... I know I can control how I react to them.... though sometimes those demons really hurt my feelings. Just when I think that I am getting close to someone that is very important to my (as far children go) life. They stab me in the back in the worse ways.... Everytime I let them inside my circle of safety they totally destroy me... I guess I have come to the place in my life of trying anymore... I cannot stand the stress that it causes.... so if things go well they do.. if not I am not going to worry about it... tired of walking on eggshells... so any other ideas out there on how to handle this???? If things are happening that hurt and re-occur, then sometimes we need to change the script. By that I mean if a group of people are hurting us and no matter what we do nothing makes that change, then change how you deal with them. Withdraw and step back from them. Sometimes knowing when to walk away is as important as holding the higher ground.
