It very much reminds me of what I've often heard Eckhart Tolle talk about when he says that we are awareness becoming aware of itself; that this is our primary purpose in life - life becoming aware of itself. This awareness, consciousness, is the totality of life - the universe - and the process of Self-Realisation (or spiritual growth, enlightenment - whatever words you'd like to use) is the process of becoming aware of that which we are...

Reminds me of the saying : "He who looks outside dreams. He who looks inside awakens."

Well if we are indeed co-creators of whatever we are doing in this life, then it stands to reason that as more and more of us awaken and answer the call to act, then as we are all one and everything of this universe is all one, that we/it will become more aware.
