Last night we watched the documentry film .... God Grew Tired of Us ....

I recommend this documentry film if you have seen and enjoyed .... The Visitor. The Lives of Others. Hotel Rwanda. The Straight Story. City of God. Water. Tsotsi. and Nowhere in Africa. .... which incidentally I have seen all these films and they too are recommended.

The Netflix Synopsis reads out as follows ....

      God Grew Tired of US.

After raising themselves in the desert along with thousands of other parentless "lost boys," Sudanese refugees John, Daniel and Panther have found their way to America, where they experience electricity, running water and supermarkets for the first time. Capturing their wonder at things Westerners take for granted, this documentary, an award winner at the 2006 Sundance Film Festival, paints an intimate portrait of strangers in a strange land.

      Length: 89 mins

In my own words .... It's a true story and this film captures how the human spirit survives and perseveres even through the most difficult trials in life .... this film is simply moving, touching and completely beautiful .... I hope you get the chance to see it.

Finally saw Twilight!! Wasn't disappointed but if you have read the book...the film as usual is different. But still enjoyed it greatly and will recommend it!

One of my all time favourite recent films...was August Rush. This is a beautiful film about a boy who hears the LifeSong (to use Jesters phrase) in everything.
Please wathc this film with an open heart and mind....I loved this so much and although is often found in the childrens section...this film has way more levels to it.
      Enjoy!

Twilight.. Yea, not my cup of tea, but I'm glad you guys enjoyed it.. Recently I sow..

Bedtime Stories.. Its ok, its 2 hours of fun, nothing special, but enjoyable. Nice family afternoon fun..

Crowley.. Its a horror mystery philosophical thriller about Alister Crowley.. Its a low budget, but excellent. If you are into light horrors, its a good movie..

Monsters vs Aliens.. One word, Fun

X-Man Origins Wolverine.. I had to download as soon as it leaked, but to be honest I hope that final, theater version will be better.. It was ok, but I was not impressed so to say, can't wait to see finished version..

Punisher: War zone.. Looks unfinished to me.. Idea and concept are good, but I feel like there is something missing..

I agree, its not that great, but I don't understand why they do these things. Its similar thing with Hulk movies ? Very strange

Yes but in the Hulk's case, the second with Edward Norton was much better than the Eric Bana one.
Hmm...guess we'll have to wait and see honey eh??

Waltz With Bashir : This Animated movie recalls the events of sabra and shatila massacre ,through the journey of the director himself interviewing his fellow comrades.......Disturbing,and does raise few questions......The movie concludes with the actual footage of the massacre.

Merry Christmas Mr.Lawrence :A clash of cultures ,a test of human spirit...A good movie about the British prisoners in a Japanese camps and their struggle and how they stand for what they believe in...till the last breath.

Romulus,My Father : This movie is he best of them all, based on a true story, this portrays what it means to have a loving father and also how is it to not to have a caring mother......I usually tend to get critical while watching movies but this one was just truth, simple and with very powerful emotions.....I am glad i saw this movie
