The prequel will trace the origins of the centuries-old blood feud between the aristocratic vampires and their onetime slaves, the Lycans. In the Dark Ages, a young Lycan named Lucian (Sheen) emerges as a powerful leader who rallies the werewolves to rise up against Viktor (Nighy), the cruel vampire king who has enslaved them.

OMG!!! that's goooooooood news I love Underworld and Selene, Kate Backinsale is my favorite actress ever, I didn't know it was coming so soon, I'll count the days till it's due plus maybe 15 days more, because movies doesn't come inmediately at my country's movie theaters, thanks for the good news Gollum.

There are just so many excellent films coming out next year!!!

Underworld 1 and 2 were awesome, but their stories were very much connected.. This looks like something new.. I don't know, I'll check it out, but look to me that they are milking old fame or something.. I generally dislike sequels..
