In Loving Memory.
Lion Spirit Walker / September 17, 1963 - Dec 30, 2014.
... All with Purpose ...
Glad you enjoyed it guys, I was the same, it took a couple of listens for that one to really grow on me. Got to hand it to Darren, his work over the past 6 years has almost single handedly brought a little depth and quality back to pop. Love him.
Here's today's offering. Ahhh. These guys can just do no wrong. Fact!

I'm in an Enigma mood. Currently listening to the 'Voyageur' CD.

Florence + The Machine - 'Ceremonials'. This album has been the soundtrack to my November. Brilliant - and so nice to see such a talented artist achieve mainstream success with a number one album
No reason here ....
.... Lion Spirit Walker made me think of Annie Lennox, and then I felt that the time was right for a love song.
Do check it out It's a great album that manages to be haunting and mysterious yet uplifting and life-affirming at the same time. With some truly amazing, soaring choruses that make me want to sing along at the top of my voice (I'm not a good singer though haha)
"Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End Soundtrack"
btw, I love Sigur Ros, Blue Star!!
"Man is a mystery. It needs to be unravelled; and if you spend your whole life unravelling it, don't say you've wasted time. I am studying that mystery because I want to be a human being." -Fyodor Dostoevsky.
Me too! I've always loved them but that love grows more and more with time. I think they could be my favourite band of all time. It seems like so long since Meo Suo i Eyrum Vio Spilum Endalaust was released (and I'm such a fan I can even type that out without checking it lol). But the great news is that a new album is due next year, described as 'ambient, floaty and minimalist'
Today's vid - new single from Florence + The Machine, prob my favourite track too. Video is brilliant, yet a little freaky. Think Flo is battling some inner demons in this one
The sound of silence.
