This song is so incredibly magical and evocative. I'm back on another Sigur Ros kick!

Love Fear - perhaps my favourite Sarah Mclachlan song and, as I sometimes find, the live versions often surpass even the perfection of the album version. So beautiful and haunting.
Must share some love for SCHOOL OF SEVEN BELLS. I love them and have a certain addiction for this song

After listening to both versions back to back I enjoy both equally. Each has a unique quality. Yet her charisma is beyond words. Just Wow.

This is a piece of music I find exceptionally powerful, intense, devastating, beautiful and moving.
I'm not sure if many will take 10 mins to watch it but I highly recommend it - with headphones! The album track (known as 'untitled 8' from the similarly untitled ( ) album) is immensely powerful in itself, but the live performance and visuals take it to another level. It is the most incredible SLOW BUILD I've ever heard in a song...building, building, building...Jonsi's haunting vocals - sung in an invented language called Hopelandic - are like the combined yearning of humanity, tinged with love and pain...and the song eventually erupts into a blistering climax, like the end of the world - or the birth of a world. If I had been there I might have felt like I was going to spontaneously combust!
Just an incredible piece of music from an incredible band. One review I saw of this summed it up well: 'Now this, THIS is what music was always meant to be. Emotional, violent, beautiful, grueling, majestic, soul-cleansing, mind-destroying sound. '

I know some of you have already realized this. LOL. But I didn't buy the 'Additional Tracks' until last night and I'm still hyped about them. Even included a couple in a new 'Workout' playlist.

A year ago I discovered the music of Harold Budd and have been enchanted ever since. His albums with Robin Guthrie, of the Cocteau Twins, are blissful and beautiful, blanketed in Guthrie's trademark reverb, melting into a sublime ocean of peace.
Life is a wheel of changes
But changes are life
And someday we will have to say good bye
But our spirit will survive
Love is phasing
Love is moving
To the rhythm of your sight
In the darkness I get closer
To the crossing point of light
Reason is lasting, passion is living
And dying is teaching us how to live
