Every hair on my body stands on end as the intensity of the storm grows in strength and charges the air surrounding me.
The lightening bolts, like great staffs of fire fly from the clouds and strike the ground with an intense slap of thunder.
Greater than any battle ever fought this might of nature which fills the sky and unleashes a fury upon the ground of fire and water.
I just love a great thunder storm.

I think we had that same storm in the wee hours of the morning ... woke up to a huge flash of bright pink light and a massive clap of thunder!!

I love thunderstorms. My new home has a metal roof so I really enjoy hearing the rain on it. Plus seeing the lightening over the lake is definitely a surreal experience.

Yep love them here too but we really dont get good ones over here, maybe only once per year...
