Michael! That is a frickin' away awesome video - wow - the goosebumps holy moly! woof! Thank you for sharing!
On a Madonna kick today, one of my fave songs from her underrated American Life album and another example of why she's a first class performer (and no, she isn't lip synching, they are using autotune to distort her vocals).
I somehow have an affinity with this song and LOVE the line "I've had so many lives since I was a child, and now I realise how many times I've died." I don't know why, but I so so so relate to this...

May it be an evening star
Shines down upon you
May it be when darkness falls
Your heart will be true
You walk a lonely road
Oh! How far you are from home
Mornie utli (darkness has come)
Believe and you will find your way
Mornie alanti (darkness has fallen)
A promise lives within you now
May it be the shadows call
Will fly away
May it be you journey on
To light the day
When the night is overcome
You may rise to find the sun
Mornie utli (darkness has come)
Believe and you will find your way
Mornie alanti (darkness has fallen)
A promise lives within you now
A promise lives within you now
I love "May it be"! It's my favorite between the 3 theme songs. "Gollum's song" is my 2nd and "Into the west" is 3rd (obviously).
Personally, i've been listening to alot of minimal techno and minimal house form different netlabel's i've found on the net. Its really soothing to hear in the morning, on my daily commute to work.
I love May It Be too! Thanks Polly :D
I have been listening a lot to Jon Hopkin's latest album "Insides"....it is a masterpiece, one of the best electronic albums I've ever heard. I love it.
Coldplay liked this song so much they got Hopkins to help produce their last album and re-worked the song in the album's intro and outro.

I'm listening to the second album I bought from Blue Stone.. I bought Breathe and there's one song which I highly recommend you to listen to.
At the moment I'm at work and hey, I can access youtube, but am not able to actually see the youtube images here, so I skip the Youtube link since I'm not able to -see and hear- what link I attach.. you never know. :)
But please do check out the song "Only One" from the Blue Stone Breathe album... :)
It's a terrific song..
Oh and the album contains many samples which are very well known, like from Enigma.. Howver, when you listen to the last few seconds of " I am", there's a sample (I at least think so) which has been used for the Enigma "lost 8" (a guess of the song title by heart, or at least a Lost song..). But very recognisable (is that a word?) and therefore this cd is a pleasant listen..
Blue Stone is fantastic and deserves a lot more attention :D
They are definitely the new Delerium as far as I've concerned. 'Breathe' isn't my favourite album, it's very pleasant but struck me as more of a try-out album, but I adore 'Worlds Apart' and their latest album 'Messages'.
Hey Rory,
I also admit that I like Worlds Apart more than Breathe. I almost like all songs as a complete story of the cd Worlds Apart, and as for Breathe, that's not there (yet?).. Although there are some great songs which sure draw my attention, like Confession. (The start of the song is very moving, and well set up.)
And I totally agree with you that they are (my?) new (or my old?) Delerium..! :)

enjoy!! :)
[later edit] still having uploading issues ... ?
I like "Worlds apart". I was curious to read about Blue Stone so i went to Allmusic.com and i read a review about "Breathe". Its description made me laugh - "what they're shooting for is "ethereal sonic bliss." The result is, at times, kind of like Enigma without the smarmy, moustache-twirling sexuality;" :D
