love this song, initially felt sorry for the kid being scared by the monsters, but the making of video shows he's clearing having a great time :) Love the quote at the start although i do believe its actually by Nietzche
I first heard this while living in NYC. I was immediately moved by the entire soundtrack. And it remains in my heart to this day.

Been using the itunes voucher my ex gave me for my birthday. Already downloaded Ulrich Schnauss's "A Strangely isolated place" (awesome!) and just downloaded BT's new album "These Hopeful Machines" (also awesome and the first real trance album I've really liked in a very long time!)

Memory comes when memory's old
I am never the first to know
Following this stream up north
Where do people like us float?
There is room in my lap
For bruises, asses, handclaps
I will never disappear
For forever, i'll be here
Whispering
Morning keep the streets empty for me
Morning keep the streets empty for me
I laying down, eating snow
My fur is hot, my tongue is cold
On a bed of spider web
I think about to change myself
A lot of hope in one man tent
There's no room for innocence
So take me home before the storm
Velvet mites will keep us warm
Whispering
Morning keep the streets empty for me
Morning keep the streets empty for me
Whispering
Morning keep the streets empty for me
Morning keep the streets empty for me
Uncover our heads and reveal our souls
We were hungry before we were born
Uncover our heads and reveal our souls
We were hungry before we were born
Uncover our heads and reveal our souls
We were hungry before we were born
Uncover our heads and reveal our souls
We were hungry before we were born
Enjoy!

Oh wow, thanks a lot for sharing this song...!!
I'm not able to listen to it now, I am at work, but I heard this song a while ago and tried to remember its name.. which I didn't.. :)
I saw your lyrics and remembered the phrase "Morning keep the streets empty for me..". So, when I have time I'll listen to it immediately -again-..!
At the moment I am -still- listening to a lot of songs from Blue Stone, have placed most of my favs in a Ipod playlist, in random order: Take flight, Envy, Breath, Remember this, Only One, On the Wind, Hang on (great flute @ intro), Labyrinth of Dreams, Voleti, Worlds Apart, Confession, Moving forward, Deja Vu, Midnight Tides, Hypnotized, Lotus Bloom ...
I tried to add "Take Flight" as my reply, but it's -not- on Youtube.... :)
I love this song from BT's new album. BT himself sings (and very well too) and there's a surprisingly heartmelting cameo from his 5 year old daughter Kaia at the very end.

Was listening to snippets of more Fever Ray on youtube, ended up with the Knife and finally some Portishead.. and then for the last song I was searching for a demo version I used to have from "Comfortably Numb" it seemed a version from David Gilmour.. and I do like this version a lot (it's a very old recording so the sound is quite horrible, but I still prefer this one above the original..)
Comfortably Numb, an older version of a demo by David Gilmour
Thanks for sharing A one, it has a very enigmatic vibe, very mysterious. Seems like this was made before they had written the lyrics, but had the melody in place :) Not keen on that part of it, but I love the guitar and overall atmosphere
Hey Rory, thanks for your comment. It indeed is enigmatic somehow, and even despite the sound quality I do like it.. :) Was looking on youtube, there even is a version of the song with Kate Bush and David Gilmore.. There are a lot of versions..
Right now I'm listening to the new album I bought (on cd this time) from Massive Attack. I like the song Atlas Air from the album Heligoland... It's a bit 100th Windows alike (the previous album). And perhaps the start is a bit slow, but you should try it a bit longer, since @ ~5.40 minutes the song gets its awesome climax beat.. :)
