Winter Solstice and Lunar Eclipse

As we celebrate the Winter Solstice and it being about Darkness becoming Light....it is kinda appropriate that we had the eclipse at the same time.

At this time we are being asked to reflect...to look inward. This can have a couple of effects on us as we do this.
There comes a time when we all need to reset our thoughts, let go of our old patterns, and stop trying to control our own world to the point of strangulation. We have all seen it, either in ourselves or in others. We all have to admit that sometimes we don’t pay attention to our own subtle signs. Sometimes we need a “abrupt awakening” to realize there is a universe beyond our own thoughts, that we have a purpose and may not be seeing the signs, to pull away from the outward (owning and buying, the physical) and work more to the inward, intuitive and spiritual.

Some will state that when we look at the world around us that we have been living in a time of “rude awakening”. How deeply we will delve into the depth is yet to be seen. Let us remember though that we are here both collectively and individually: we can continue to view our world as deteriorating, or we can individually step forward and say, “I can make a difference”. We can independently steer the course of our lives and we can collectively transition this world into a world that serves us in our spiritual and physical experience.

How should we view this event of Winter Solstice coupled with a Lunar Eclipse? We have the choice to interpret this time as the end of time or simply as the end of a cycle, grateful that we have reached this point at last. Tomorrow approaches, with the return of the light as our days gradually grow longer, warmer, and brighter.

The darkest time is just before dawn....therefore Light will return...what will you see in that Light?
