how any such list does not include Carlos Santana is absolutely beyond me. His solo on Promise of a Fisherman on the Borboletta album is nothing short of miraculous and the following song, One With the Sun takes guitar FAR beyond anything Jimi Hendrix was capable of. And then theres the live version of Toussaint L'Overture on the Moonflower album.....which defines WOW! Dance Sister Dance and that atmospheric guitar at the end is spine tingling.

I
