If you can save a bit of cash (cause they are pricy) they are so worth the investment.

I own a couple of pairs of these

and until very recently used them exclusively in my studio. tThe HD280 has long been considered the studio standard for critical monitoring. However, they have a knack for coming loose at the wiring harness and losing one ear. The cables are replaceable but it became a real pain after a while. Great sound however.

But then I went and bought these:

and they just blow the seinheisser out of the water. I mean incredible sound! And the cable connects to the phones with a minijack!!!! Convenient as hell.

Nice Cans Polly! I've had a really good set in my time but the dog took care of my last ones and I never replaced... Right now I'm digging noise cancellation cans, now they are worth every penny if anyone wanted to know!!

youll have to word me up ..im not very knowledgeable in these areas ..(to my brothers shame as he is the sound tec for the band) what does an expensive pair of head phones do in ways of hearing the music better because w ehave an awesome steroe system but i wasnt knowing the headphones needed to be gungho .. help me out guys ! eeek
