Has anyone here ever read any of Théophile Gautier's works? I can read only his English translations. His writing is facinating to me; much of it with a supernatural bent. I am looking forward to reading his works. What prompted me to this, was one of his short stories 'The Mummy's Foot' - very enigmatic story.
