Despite the credit crunch, the freezing cold, The state of the world and all the other stuff in life we are bombarded with it's not all doom and gloom. There's at least one thing in everyone's day that makes you smile unexpectedly. So my question is...........

What made you smile today?

My 2 year old grandaughter ordering the cat to watch PINGU on TV

and this

1. I had a not so nice dream last night and I told my fiance about it, and afterwords he made me smile!

2. Our cat Mischa and her new found obsession...the woodstove and it's heat!

3. The picture you posted Gollum!! Good one!

*SHH! Don't scare the shopping carts or we'll have no dinner tonight!*

ps: there is always something that makes me laugh and or smile all the time!

Cats will always find the best source of heat, mine used to go on sleep on the TV with its tail waving across the screen.

I once got an email from someone who told me that my work helped them cope with the death of a loved one. That touched me so very deeply and its times like that that put everything in perspective for me....

I was out in my garden and I came across a tomato plant, The plant was completely withered and looked at deaths door, but hanging of it was 1 big bright red tomato, the constrast made me smile

I really wish I had taken a photo of it before I picked the tomato and stuck it in a nice ham, cheese and tomato sandwich :)

He'll kill me for saying this but it's true. This is what made me smile today.

I was in the kitchen and I could hear Peter, who was in his office at the time, singing away to himself (something I've never heard off but it was very odd) and reciting some funny lines from Family Guy to himself while looking for his pouch of XBOX 360 games. That made me smile. But what made me laugh my head off, was when I went in to help him look (he'd been looking for about an hour at this stage), I noticed that the pouch was sitting there in plain sight, on his desk. When I pointed it out, his face was priceless and I laughed for a good few minutes. Made my day!

Sorry Peter but it had to be told. LOL

Funny how we can miss what we're looking for when it's in plain sight!

What made me smile today was going too Top Gear live!!!!!

An action packed live seated version of the famous TV show! (on the BBC) We seen some of the most coolest, sexiest, best performance cars in the world and stunt men that were just breath talking.

Top stuff indeed from the top gear boys. :)

A man checks into a hotel on a business trip and feels a bit lonely.
After a while he thought of one of those girls you see advertised in phone booths when you're calling for a cab.

He popped into a phone booth near the hotel and found an ad for a girl calling herself Erogenous, a lovely girl,
She had all the right curves in all the right places, beautiful long wavy hair, long graceful legs all the way up to her ... you know the
kind!

He copied down the phone number and returned to his hotel.
When back in the room he figures, what the hell, give her a call.

'Hello?' the woman says. (God, she sounded sexy!).

'Hi, I hear you give a great massage and I'd like you to come to my room and give me one. No, wait, I should be straight with you. I'm in
town all alone and what I really want is sex. I want it hard, I want it hot, and I want it now. I'm talking k inky the whole night long. You
name it, we'll do it. Bring implements, toys, everything you've got in your bag of tricks. We'll go hot and heavy all night; tie me up,
cover me in chocolate syrup and whipped cream, anything you want baby. Now, how does that sound?'

She says, 'That sounds fantastic, but for an outside line you need to press 9".

Nun in a taxi

A cabbie picks up a Nun.
She gets into the cab, and notices that the VERY handsome cabdriver won't stop staring at her.
She asks him why he is staring.
He replies: 'I have a question to ask you but I don't want to
offend you.'
She answers, 'My son, you cannot offend me. When you're as old as
I am and have been a nun as long as I have, you get a chance to see
and hear just about everything. I'm sure that there's nothing you could say or ask that I would find offensive.'
'Well, I've always had a fantasy to have a nun kiss me.'
She responds, 'Well, let's see what we can do about that:
#1, you have to be single and #2, you must be Catholic.'
The cab driver is very excited and says, 'Yes, I'm single and
Catholic!'

'OK' the nun says. 'Pull into the next alley.'

The nun fulfills his fantasy, with a kiss that would make a hooker
blush.
But when they get back on the road, the cab driver starts crying.

'My dear child,' says the nun, 'why are you crying?'
'Forgive me but I've sinned. I lied and I must confess, I'm married
and I'm Jewish.'
The nun says, "That's OK......

My name is Kevin and I'm going to a Halloween party!"

Photos show the man naked from his waist to his knees, swinging from one leg, and still wearing both skis.

He became entangled shortly after boarding the Skyline Express lift.

The lift was stopped and reversed about 12ft (3.6m) before he was freed by the Vail Ski Patrol, Vail Resort said in a statement about the 1 January incident.

......And finally what happens to bush ?

George W Bush has a heart attack and dies. Obviously he goes to Hell,
where the Devil is waiting for him.

"I'm not sure what to do," says the Devil. "You're on my list, but I
have no room for you. As you definitely have to stay here, I'm going
to have to let someone else go. I've got three folks here who weren't
quite as bad as you. I'll let one of them go, but you have to take
their Place. I'll even let you decide who leaves."

George thought that sounded pretty good, so he agreed.

The Devil opened the first room. In it were Richard Nixon and a large
pool of hot water. He kept diving in and climbing out, over and over.
Such was his fate in hell.

"No!" said George. "I don't think so, I'm not a good swimmer and don't
think I could stay in hot water all day."

The Devil led him to the next room. In it was Tony Blair with a
sledgehammer and a room full of rocks. All he did was swing the
hammer, time after time.

"No! I've got this problem with my shoulder. I would be in constant
agony if all I could do was break rocks all day." commented George.

The Devil opened the third door. In it, George saw Bill Clinton lying
on the floor with his arms staked over his head, and his legs staked
in a spread-eagle pose. Bent over him was Monica Lewinsky, doing what
she does best.

George Bush looked at this in disbelief for a while, and finally said
"Yeah, I can handle this."

The Devil smiled and said, "OK, Monica, you're free to go!"

The sharing of Marriage...

The old man placed an order for one hamburger, french fries and a drink.

He unwrapped the plain hamburger and carefully cut it in half, placing one half in front of his wife .

He then carefully counted out the french fries, dividing them into two equal piles and neatly placed one pile in front of his wife.

He took a sip of the drink, his wife took a sip and then set the cup down between them. As he began to eat his few bites of hamburger, the people around them were looking over and whispering.

Obviously they were thinking, 'Geez, that poor old couple - all they can afford is one meal for the two of them.'

As the man began to eat his fries, a young man came over to the table and politely offered to buy another meal for the old couple. The old man said, 'Oh, we are just fine - they were used to sharing everything.'

People closer to the table noticed the little old lady hadn't eaten a bite. She sat there watching her husband eat and occasionally taking turns sipping the drink.

Again, the young man came over and begged them to let him buy another meal for them. This time the old woman said, 'No, no thank you, we are used to sharing everything.'

Finally, as the old man finished and was wiping his face neatly with the napkin, the young man again came over to the little old lady who had yet to eat a single bite of food and asked 'What is it you are waiting for?'

She answered

From the BBC News.

Thai 'Spider-Man' to the rescue.

The child was persuaded off the ledge by his favourite superhero

An unusual disguise has helped a Bangkok fireman rescue an eight-year-old boy who had climbed on to a third-floor window ledge, Thai police say.

The firefighter dressed up as the comic book superhero Spider-Man in order to coax the boy, who is autistic, from his dangerous perch.

Police said teachers had alerted the fire station after the boy began crying and climbed out of a classroom window.

It was reportedly his first day at the special needs school.

Efforts by the teachers to persuade the pupil to come back inside had failed.

But a remark by his mother about his passion for comic superheroes prompted fireman Somchai Yoosabai to rush back to the station, where he kept a Spider-Man costume in his locker.

The sight of Mr Somchai dressed as Spider-Man and holding a glass of juice for him, brought a big smile to the boy's face, and he promptly threw himself into the arms of his "superhero", police said.

Mr Somchai normally uses the costume to liven up fire drills in schools.

Its amazing that none of the cast looked any older than series 8 which was 10 year ogo..

It makes me want more epsiodes, lets hope we dont have to wait another 10 Years..

He's obviously gone in for a wheel change. I say obviously because I can't see it"

"With half the race gone, there is half the race still to go"

"Do my eyes deceive me, or is Senna's Lotus sounding rough ?"

"Anything happens in Grand Prix racing and it usually does"

"Alboreto has dropped back up to fifth place"

"As you look at the first four, the significant thing is that Alboreto is 5th"

"I can't imagine what kind of problem Senna has. I imagine it must be some sort of grip problem"

"He is shedding buckets of adrenalin in that car"

"It's raining and the track is wet"

"Jenson Button is in the top ten, in eleventh position."

"And this is the third place car about to lap the second place car."

"The lead is now 6.9 seconds. In fact, it's just under 7 seconds."

"And the first five places are filled by five different cars."

"And the first three cars are all Escorts, which isn't surprising as this is an all Escort race."

A new law amending the Citizenship Act will come into effect on April 17, 2009.
