One simple way of helping Mother would be to load up your living place
with plants, besides providing good air and better vibes, it really does
help with the problem of plant extinction,
same goes with adopting a animal or too :)

Hmm, adopting animals is a great idea!

I was doing some online researching a couple years ago...about adopting Sea Turtles as a gift for friends and family...and I had some good luck, I found a few Aquariums with websites, where one could adopt a sea creature of some kind. The Aquariums help protect and narture the sea creature(s) and help support the Aquarium(s) funding at the same time!!

DB...I am glad you got the first post in this forum :) You know my love of our Mother and all her children here..... :)

Yes I agree...I would find it hard to cope without my animals and plants and garden!!!
They are my link to Nature and my life line kinda.....

im lucky to live in an environmentally concious community ..the local council has a law that if you want to cut down a native tree you have to put the notion forward in writing to them if there is a fair reason (usually because the tree is unstable and dangerous) you are allowed to cut the tree down but you have to replace it with 3 other natives ( i think thats awesome)

Yes, that sounds like a good law, I wonder sometimes why we don't
build more from stone, I know it's a bit harder..but I think the dwellings
would last longer if they were built right.

I have to agree DB! Most of the houses here are built in concrete or stone. The beauty of them is that withstand the weather better and they can be built in stone or dressed with stone.
In Connemara, many of them are built in stone and they look gorgeous as well as being very old!

Rana...sounds like a cool system there!! Shame more governments can't take things like that on board!
