Thanx for creating and running all of this.

What's your plans for more expanding, improving, etc site and forums in the future?

As for me would love to see more then what you have at the moment. Like more general on/off topic/s forums and sub forums that have yet to be covered on here.

This includes having the homepage and etc being on here. As opposed to the way it is.

Well, I don't know to what extent you took to look around the forum itself, but there are a great number of topics being discuss from the random things in Life to what it all means and everything in between. So, whatever may be on your mind, is either already here or waiting to be discussed? :)

Hi,

Thanks for taking the time to post about what you would like to see.

Well as you can see we have a Facebook link going on that allows any member of FB connect with us without having to join! I love this idea but it didn't really help us all that much... We have Polly doing a fantastic job helping MW stay on FB too and I am very thankful to her for that!.. We also have a Twitter bot posting out Tweets of updates there too. Funny I think it was the likes of fb that killed the forum idea, I mean to a lot of people fb is all the internet they need, they don't want to really connect any more and as long as they update the fb page and quickly skim over what the 'friends' have said, well they are happy to leave it at that.

I agree we need to step up our game and offer a more compelling reason to join, I would love to add new and exciting forums, as many as you could handle! In the end it comes down to this, if we don't have the numbers posting in the forums then MW would just end up looking like an much bigger ghost town than it already does. If you or anyone could suggest ways of taping into the minds of the masses and help bring them here to post with us then my door is always open to new ideas and suggestions.

We are a very small site, sometimes I think nothing short of paying for members would help us!
FYI: MW 100% free to all members, it is also 100% ad free, spam free and tracking free. I don't have those nasty ads like 99.9% of other websites, I believe they look tacky and cheap! The founding for this project comes from me and me alone, in the past I have gone down the road of paying for ads on Facepuss and Google to help bring the members in, but in the end I think it worked out at $700 to get 3 members posting and none of them are still with us...

Regarding the home-page, the software that powers MW is forum software, it's not made like webpage are on a typical website or blog, it's very limited. What this means is, what you see is what you get, the 'front page' is how the forum looks with slight modifications and to be honest I don't have the skills needed to make it look any better... but getting back to my first point, if we see the numbers rise of members or guests then anything is possible I suppose and who knows what wonders we could have.

Thanks for taking the time to voice yourself and I always welcome any and all feedback!

Regards,

Peter

Polly and Peter,

Thanx for your responses to here. I'm with you Peter that I have no clue regarding the skills to setup anything more advance then posting and etc.

Yup I think it's all about getting people to post more, Peter is quite right, a lot of the old regulars now only appear to be active on FB - I don't know whether because it's more convenient or whatever. Maybe it'll shift back again. I hope so. One of those things in life, you can only really do so much, then you just have to let it be and wait. Kind of like a spider spinning its web - after the web is spun, it's done its work and just has to wait and let life deliver the flies lol. Bad analogy perhaps. I think I've just likened Peter to a spider and us to flies haha. Sorry. You know what I mean though.

As for me I really prefer to do all of my posting here instead of FB because I'm so used to it and etc.
