'What would you do if you knew you only had one day, one week, one month to live?'

Excellent discussion. I believe more often than not people tand to take their lifetime for granted. I also believe that we should live each day as the True Gift that it is.

Good thread Polly. I guess since my sister died at 50, I decided once I reached 50, I would do all the things that presented themselves to me.....kinda in celebration of her life and mine.
So I have grabbed things by the short and curlies and gone for it!! Good clip and what would I do?? Live! Laugh! Love!

I'd grab my flute, catch a flight to Colorado and drive up that mountain with the open cliff face I found all those years ago, press record on a portable recorder and play. And as the sonic energy of that flute jumps off that cliff face as if the mountain itself was the ultimate effects processor, feeding back the sound of my flute with that perfect balance of reverb and delay by natures own hand, Id wash away the years of dirt and grime, the stain of ambition and desire, and the pain of loss and guilt, and leave this world the same way I came in on the wings of the song that has always defined me.

And when they found me and played that recording..those whom I love would know that that last song was born of my love for them.....a parting gift from my deepest self.
