This is a festival of lights...celebrating the light returning to us once again after the dark of winter.
It is all about home and hearth, birth and renewal.
Imbolc means ewe's milk...or of the womb...so it literally is about renewal and rebirth.
A time to bless the seeds for a plentiful crop. It is a good time for giving thanks for the blessings we have received, to look forward to a time of growth and bounty.

Imbolc or St Brigids Day usually celebrates the first day of Spring. So.....Happy Spring Day!!! :)
