I've initiated this thread so that we might discuss unusual occurrances and events from around the world as they relate to nature.

I had been aware of an unusual number of birds and fishes having been found dead in two of the southern states of the USA on 31 Dec 2010 and 1 Jan 2011. But it wasn't until recently that I had read at several sites online that such occurrances have been occurring around the world throughout Dec into Jan. In most cases the cause of the mass die offs is simply stated as "Unknown".

Hmmmm.......

Its kinda like the Swine Flu here too.....when someone dies, they say its because of underlying complications and yet they never say what they are!! Makes you wonder if the cure is worse than the disease!!! Both are manufactured!

With regard to HIV/AIDS, the "therapy" is a double edged sword. The meds help to extend life and prevent mother to child transmission during pregnancy. However, the side effects of these medications are extreme and can lead to complications such as death.
The disease in it's various strains are somewhat common for primates. It does have an amazing ability to mutate as has been seen within humans. The strain that I had contracted in 1984 isn't what you might contract now.
The most important consideration now regarding HIV/AIDS is responsible behavior.

Yes I do understand how some meds can be that way hon. And as you rightly say, being responsible is the key in certain circumstances.
I guess I just get a little suspicious when people say the causes are 'unknown' .....makes me wonder what we are NOT being told.

I'd have to agree with you.

It seems as though at least once a week there is a report of birds or fishes dying en masse somewhere. Then, last night I learned about multiple octopi deaths in Portugal. Coincidence? Or is nature sending one or more messages worth heeding?

Tyvm for the links.
Regarding possible causes... Hmmm.

Several thoughts race through my mind in learning of all these die-offs occurring around the planet.
First, how can so many of these events in such a relatively short amount of time be so carelessly dismissed?
I was repeatedly posting these two lines from a song that resonated in my thoughts despite my efforts to shake them; 'Smoke on the water.' & 'Fire in the sky'. During which time I had absolutely no idea that these die-offs were or would be occurring.
Granted, I may be completely out in 'left field' with my above comment. However, if I can see a connection in that, than why aren't those in the fields of science able to provide realistic answers? Why could these events not be seen before actually occurring?
Amongst all of this and more, this thought remains in my mind. That many of these occurances could realistically be the product of warfare technologies being tested.
If all humans upon this planet only knew half of what is in fact occurring at the hands of our 'glorious leaders'.
I often see too much.

It is interesting that these die-offs are primarily effecting (apparently) Fishes and Birds.
More of us should really be asking why.
Lol. And no. I'm not refferring to members of MW, but rather the general global public.

The recent animal die-offs should stand as a warning to humanity that the background mass extinction event known as the Sixth Extinction is still alive and well and will continue to accelerate unless we choose to address the root of the problem; but that requires complex thinking and will require us to make unpleasant choices, and like I said earlier, I don't believe we have either the courage or the intelligence to make those hard choices.

Apparently, the deaths of the (five thousand!) red-winged blackbirds in Arkansas, U.S.A., were the result of "blunt-force trauma," but I hardly think that those deaths are completely unrelated to the others. Curiouser and curiouser....

Anjou, I had read the same and agree that it seems a bit too suspicious. That and our wonderful governments have these bad habits of putting their spin onto things (i.e., lie).
Pardon me. But I lost my faith in the government a while back. Too much deceit.

Polly, I saved the image from your t to my 'Life' file.
I found it somewhat interesting that the area of Arkansa, USA that had a large die-off of birds and fishes has been repeatedly hit throughout the past two weeks, at least by M.3 (average) quakes.....
