I had the idea for this thread as a way to celebrate the the thing that brought most of us together. Post whatever songs, videos, thoughts and reflections you like.

Here's a new TV interview with Michael Cretu. It seems to be from a German TV show called Talking Germany, although ironically its in English and presented by an English guy. It was an interesting interview, nice to see MC looking and sounding so well. Alas, no mention of any new music - I'd love to know what he's been up to in the 2 years since E7 was released. I don't think we'll see another album until 2012.

Enjoy.

Did I hear our MC right ... did he say mysterious and spiritual!? :D

Hm? Sounds ... like to me ... like he needs to become a MW member!! :hyper2:

Cool!! Thanks Rory for the awesome video and wonderful thread!

It doesn't surprise me that MC and his Enigma Project are doing interviews in English ... it seems he has more fans that can speak/understand English moreso than with the German language.

[Later Edit]

*he-he* ... he is so funny!! :)

MC really needs a better interviewer!! :D

The quiz at the end ... my answers were the exact same ...

He does need a better interviewer, he usually just gets asked the same generic questions by people who evidently don't know or understand the music.

As for being a member of MW - maybe he is!! Maybe he is among us. Maybe one of us leads a double life? ;)

I posted this on EMB a couple of years ago...its from a Peter Kay parody of the X Factor/Pop Idol type shows. It has to be seen to be believed....I wonder if MC has seen this? Would he find it funny or not I wonder? LOL

Question for the true Enigma fans..... Does Michael C. have any creative input into the art and design of the CDs?
I've always found it fasinating and thought provoking art.
Just curious. LOL. And too lazy to research it. Pardon me. :)

Now this question was actually asked in an interview a couple years back and I can't fully remember the answer. From what I recall, MC has input along with the record company as to who they employ to do the art and then they decide which of the designs they most like. They might give the designer a few pointers, but I think that's more or less how it works.

They still don't know that it is NOT a Native American singing that tune! ..... jeez ......

[later edit] the best part of his performance is ----> 2:52-3:00 (it's best if you have killer headphones ... the bass is nice and his voice is cool)

Is the 'ENigma Group' invisable? I keep looking for it but can't seem to find it. [Lollol. hint, hint.]
