I thought it might be an idea to use this thread to post anything about ancient prophecies and how they might relate to today.

Thought I would start with this Hopi prophecy...

It is interesting, to me as it's something I felt for some time and whenever I hear the doomsday stories about the Mayan... It was your post that made me stumble upon the video and be shocked this person just put some of my feelings into words. There is more to this but right now this will do.

Right or wrong it's what I feel.

You are speaking your truth honey, I respect that totally and I also agree about the doomsday stuff. There is something coming, of that we are all certain but the earth will also prevail of this I am certain. So I understand where you are coming from on this :)

Peter ... that is an interesting snippet of a film and I thank you for posting it!

As the narrator said ... 'it is in your Soul's blueprint' ... which is so true ... that you already know of this on other levels ... I too, have always felt something resonating deep within me, a frequency tuned into the Universe and never 'feared' 12.21.2012 .... in fact I will welcome it with opens arms and an open heart! :)

Let us walk through the Door of Light together my dear friends!! :giveheart

I so completely agree with all that's being shared here.
Sooo many thoughts rise up into the conscious mind. Some imprinted through the teachings oi history. Others being more akin to memory recall. And still others existing as if imprinted upon the essences of our true state of being by the Universe itself. A harmonious balance with the rythyms of the Universe.
We are so very aware in all Truth when we simply remember we are Alive, The 'maps' of the Universe itself unfold within us. And we realize we are in truth interconnected with All That Is.
It is only when we have forgotten this Truth, that we experience the illusions of the fear of Growth.
Our Lives are Eternal/Universal. Imprinted with All that we will ever need, when that need is True to our growth as living beings. Some experiencing a bit more 'intunement' with our Universal intercennectedness than others. Seeing aspects of these 'Universal maps' before the events actrually occur. Feeling the depth of the Truth seen, we are urged from within to share these 'sights', these visions.
We express these visions through the means available to us. But due to these visions being so very vast, our commmunications with one another fall short in the expressions. In the 'translations', aspects become vague and obscure. For those not ready, what is expressed is not understood. And for those that are ready, what is understood need not be expressed.
We do in truth remind one another along the path 'of that which we always knew'. For none of this is 'anything new'.
As we come closer 'to the crossing point of Life' all will come to the Truth of Being which exists within us All.
This is the time of tremendous Growth for All life upon our planet. And it is soo very great that it resonates outward through the Universe. And as our dearest Polly has elloquently stated before, 'the Universe opens it's arms to receive us'.
Lol. Welcome to the 'new chapter.'

In Norse mythology, a valkyrie (from Old Norse valkyrja "chooser of the slain") is one of a host of female figures who decide who will die in battle. The valkyries bring their chosen to the afterlife hall of the slain, Valhalla, ruled over by the god Odin, where the deceased warriors become einherjar. There, when the einherjar are not preparing for the events of Ragnarök, the valkyries bear them mead. Valkyries also appear as lovers of heroes and other mortals, where they are sometimes described as the daughters of royalty, sometimes accompanied by ravens, and sometimes connected to swans.

Valkyries are attested in the Poetic Edda, a book of poems compiled in the 13th century from earlier traditional sources; the Prose Edda and Heimskringla, written in the 13th century by Snorri Sturluson, and Njáls saga, a Saga of Icelanders also written in the 13th century. They appear throughout the poetry of skalds, in a 14th century charm, and in various runic inscriptions.

This is truly wonderful. You may have been hearing me, as Norse mythology has been in my mind since I first read this thread. Very well done dear angel. :)
