I just wanted to wish everyone a good Wesak, whether it's a time you acknowledge or not. Wesak is the celebration of the birth and enlightenment of the Buddha and occurs every May during the full moon. It is believed to be a time of great spiritual power and blessing, and a great time to sit in meditation and prayer, focussing positive intentions on the planet and all in need - and at this crucial time, the ocean.
If you feel so inclined, it would be nice to honour it in whatever way you feel inspired, even if it's just by lighting a candle. I believe it is a wonderful celebration of enlightenment/awakened consciousness - the potential and ability we each have to transcend the world of 'samsara' and be free and at peace within ourselves. The world needs this peace.
Love to everyone
