There is in every true woman's heart, a spark of heavenly fire, which lies dormant in the broad daylight of prosperity, but which kindles up and beams and blazes in the dark hour of adversity.

Hehehehe. You rock.
When should we expect a woman president of the USA???? Or better yet China????
We deffinately need more women calling the shots. Us men are too preoccupied with our testicles to get this train on it's track.
Oooops. Did I say that out loud. OH NO! I'm banned for life. hehehehhee.
I honestly do believe women would do a much better job of creating a Realistic society.

Its always good to have a balanced view and rather than end with a battle of the sexes...I think we all have something to contribute just in different ways ;) We are like different colours on the rainbow...all the rainbow, just different strands ;)
But yes, its nice to see a thread dedicated to women as a celebration :)
Be cool to see one dedicated to men too though ;)

Helen Keller was born June 27, 1880 in Tuscumbia, Alabama. She was born with full eye sight and hearing also a very healthy baby. However in February 1882, when Helen wasn't even 2 years old she became very sick. The doctors thought it was a type of fever that involved the brain and she was expected to die. However, the illness went away, Kate Keller, Helen's mother, wasn't getting a response from Helen when she rang the dinner bell and never noticed her parents in front of her. It was at the time when the realized she was blind, deaf, and mute.

After this tragedy, they knew she needed help and after asking help from many doctors, Alexander Graham Bell suggested they have a student from the Perkins Institution to help Helen with everyday life tasks since she was both blind and deaf. the student was Anne Sullivan. Anne Sullivan was also blind but only partially. She couldn't see very well because of an eye infection. Anne helped Helen learn all about life by spelling out words into her hand called finger spelling.

The One Who Would Be Pharaoh.
Nefertiti, Ancient Egyptian Queen (c. 1370 BC - 1330 BC), The Great Royal Wife (chief consort) of the Pharaoh Akhenaten (a.k.a. Amenhotep IV).
Both were known for having started a religious revolution, in which they started to worship only one god. ATEN, or the sun disc.
It is believed by some scholars that Nefertiti ruled for a short time after her husbands death.
During their marrige she had unprecedented power. And by the 12th year it is believed that her status was elevated to co-regent equal in status to the pharaoh.
